Correspondence with Adolf Klarmann, 1972-1976.

Mainly concerns the publication of Zwischen Oben und Unten, a posthumous volume of collected writings by Franz Werfel which was edited by Adolf Klarmann. Included is a publishing contract signed by Klarmann, Anna Mahler and Herbert Fleissner (for Langen Müller Verlag). The letters from and to Vartan Gregorian concern a financial subsidy for the publication of the volume, and an agreement about Gregorian's obtaining a number of reprint copies of Werfel's speech commemorating the Armenian Bible translation ("Festvortrag zur fünfzehnten Jahrhundertfeier der armenischen Bibelübersetzung"), contained in the volume. In the letter to S. Fischer Verlag, directed to the department for honoraria, Klarmann disputes a bill and outlines his previous conflict with S. Fischer Verlag over its failure to publish Zwischen Oben und Unten for many years after his delivery of the manuscript.
